A decade in it, and three years a thousand miles away

Every fashion studio has the same quiet secret. The person running it is so buried in the work that they cannot actually see the business. I know, because for ten years I was that person.
I was good at the work. I was always busy. But if you had asked me which jobs actually made money and which ones quietly lost it, I could not have told you.
Then for over three years, I ran the whole thing from another country. A Nigerian studio, and me a thousand miles away. That is when it stopped being a nuisance and became the whole problem. I would open a year of bank statements, millions of naira moving through, and could not tell you where it had gone. Nothing was stolen. Nothing was done badly. There was just no structure, and without one, a studio cannot see itself.
So I started building something for myself. Only a dashboard at first, just to put my own house in order. To see my orders, my money, my measurements in one place, instead of scattered across notebooks and WhatsApp and memory.
But the more I used it, the more I thought, I cannot keep this to myself. There are so many people exactly like me. People building a real business and wanting a real structure under it. People running a studio from abroad, trying to watch it from a phone. People who want to know, honestly, how much they are actually making. People who want to follow an order every step of the way, from the moment it is confirmed, through production, through quality control, to the day it is delivered. People who want a client’s measurements kept for a lifetime, not written in a book that goes missing with a hundred others.
So it grew into that. A full system, used in my own studio every single day while it was being built. The parts that were annoying got fixed, because I was the one being annoyed by them. It keeps your business in your pocket. Not an app that sits on one computer, but something you carry, that works on your phone even when the network does not.
It knows what a piece rate is. It knows the fabric comes off the shelf and off the profit in the same breath. It knows who owes you, and it chases them for you. It was not built by watching this trade from the outside. It was built from ten years of living every part of it. The late nights, the missing measurements, the bank statements that would not add up. And it is ready for yours.
